Junior Rugby League is enjoyed by boys and girls

Junior Rugby League

Junior Rugby League is enjoyed by boys and girls. From under sevens up to the under 11 age group the teams are mixed with boys and girls playing together.

The age groups at Rugby League clubs run from under seven all the way up to under 18.

Community clubs have trained coaches and dedicated Child Welfare Officers to help ensure that children and young people have a rewarding experience as they start, stay and succeed in the game.

A growing number of clubs offer girl's teams.

Some young people have their first experience of the game at school, through opportunities including Sky Try or Champion Schools, and then go on to explore playing opportunities in a local community club.

Find out more about your local club with the Rugby League Finder.
