For Huddersfield in 2018, it will be a case of pick up from where you left off.
After a very slow start to the season, the Giants began to gain momentum, and went on a run of nine wins in 14 games, with only a late dip in form killing off a serious chance of making the top four.
Jermaine McGillvary returns fresh off the back of being England’s player of the tournaments at the World Cup and will be looking to make amends for what will go down as a quiet 2017 season, when he crossed for 22 tries.

After making a few additions during the course of last season, Rick Stone has only brought in Adam Walne and Colton Roche to his roster for 2018 and time will tell whether that will be enough to see Huddersfield return to a side who can genuinely challenge for the play-offs.
Part of the change in fortune last season was the emergence of flying fullback Jake Mamo, who returned from injury in fine form.
The speedy former Newcastle Knights man often set the pitch alight and scored 12 tries in nine appearances, before his season was prematurely ended with a foot injury.
If the 23-year-old stays fit for the full campaign, he will surely inspire some memorable Huddersfield performances.
WHAT A SIGNING 🙌
