Premier Division

Kells will travel to face local rivals Wath Brow Hornets once again as the Premier Division play-offs get underway next week.

Hornets picked up a steely 18-10 home win over Kells on Saturday to round off the Premier Division campaign in style in front of a bumper crowd.

Division 2

In Division 2, there were two tight games over the weekend, as the third tier regular season came to a close.

Crosfields launched a remarkable comeback from 16-4 down with just 13 minutes left to win 18-16 on Saturday.

In Warrington, fellow mid-table outfit Drighlington looked to have the game all-but wrapped up before three late scored turned the game on its head.

Wigan St Jude's also overcame Askam 32-30 in a dramatic game on home turf in the weekend's other Division 2 other fixture.

Division 3

In Division 3, Woolston Rovers were the big winners, picking up a fine 60-0 away win over Barrow Island to dash the Island's play-off hopes.

Harry Files led the way with a hat-trick of tries for Woolston, with Luke Walker kicking eight goals to add extra gloss to the scoreline.
